What steps, if any, will you take to lessen the paralyzing partisan politics that are preventing Congress from conducting the people’s business?

David Macko: I will conduct the people’s business. 1.impeaching Obama for treason, murder and other war crimes and destroying the Constitution in order to set up dictatorship 2. ending the depression by passing the Liberty Amendment to repeal the federal income tax, abolishing the Federal Reserve System and replacing it by honest money 3. stopping World War III by bringing all of our troops home, ending all foreign aid and getting the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US and 4. ending the police state by fully restoring the right to keep and bear arms, abolishing the NSA, CIA, BATFE, the PATRIOT Act and ending persecution of the hero Edward Snowden. I will work to expose all Congressmen who are working to enslave us so that they can be voted out.

What measures, if any, do you favor to slow global warming and/or to meet America’s ever increasing demands for energy?

David Macko: Are you joking? There is a 6 foot snow pile in my back yard from plowing. The Great Lakes are more ice covered than in the past 20 years. Global warming is a hoax, a fraud and a lie. Here is one of the thousands of sources of truthful information http://www.infowars.com/group-that-admitted-manufacturing-global-warming-threat-still-pushes-same-hoax/. The global warming lie is part of the Agenda 21 plan to destroy America and merge us into a one world government. I favor repeal of all federal laws, executive orders and regulations, especially all taxes on energy, which prevent the discovery, development, transmission and sale of all forms of energy. I oppose subsidies. For info see Lindsey Williams https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZFO1tq5OeI

What is your position on immigration reform, and how will you work to promote that position?

David Macko: There is no immigration problem. The US has an invasion problem. I favor a wall along our southern border, manned by some of the marines and soldiers whom we should bring home now. I also favor reimplementation of President Eisenhower’s program which solved this problem in 1954 and the pre-1965 restrictions as well as a limit of 1/10th of 1 % immigration per year. We must be vigilant never to use this emergency or any other to restrict the liberties of the American people as has happened repeatedly, especially since 9-11 which was an inside job. I strongly oppose any employee identification requirement. We should never let the government decide who works. It is nonsense to import foreign workers during a depression.

What is your position on the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), and what will you do to accomplish your goals?

David Macko: I will work to defund and repeal Obamacare. Lenin stated that government control of health is essential to establishment of communism and Obama is working to prove that he was correct. We must also phase out Medicare, Medicaid, Bush’s drug welfare program and all unconstitutional expensive programs. Ending licensing of physicians and nurses as well as the Drug War would also reduce prices as well as allowing people to buy insurance in other states. Health care and insurance are two of the many areas of activity in which the fedgov is restricted from meddling by Article 1 Section 8 and the Ninth and Tenth Amendments. I have the courage to shut down the fedgov totally (not a puny 17% for a few days) to kill Obamacare/ other evil programs.

What revenue sources would you consider raising or what programs would you consider cutting in order to address the federal deficit?

David Macko: I will never vote to impose new taxes or fees or increase current taxes or fees. The ultimate goal should be to run the government by a small revenue tariff as was done throughout most of the 19th century. I don’t have time or space to list all of the unconstitutional, unnecessary departments and agencies which should be abolished, to cut expenses or restore liberty. I favor abolition of all federal departments except Defense, Veterans Affairs, which should be merged with it, State, Justice and Treasury. The Defense Department should be limited to defending our homes and the Bill of Rights. The Justice Department should promote justice which means impeaching Eric Holder. The Treasury Department should oppose counterfeiting and end the Fed.

Here is my complaint about the editing of my response, Plain Dealer Editor Richard Exner’s answer and my response to it:

Dear Mr. Exner,
I was very pleased to see that information for all Libertarian candidates in northeast Ohio is now included online at Cleveland.com.
After further observation, however, I noticed that my comment on the question of immigration reform was only 725 characters instead of close to 750 and that a portion of my reply had been deleted.
The sentence which reads “I also favor reimplementation of President Eisenhower’s program which solved this problem in 1954…” should read “I also favor reimplementation of President Eisenhower’s program,Operation Wetback, which solved this problem in 1954…”
I favor use of the historical term for this program. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Wetback
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Thank you for your prompt response. I am deeply disappointed that you altered my answer. Operation Wetback was the historical term for President Eisenhower’s program, as I mentioned in my previous message. To delete an historic term and send it down the memory hole is hardly different from Big Brother’s practices in George Orwell’s brilliant novel, 1984. I request that you include it in my answer.
If you cannot do so, here is my slightly expanded answer so that I can take advantage of most of my 25 remaining characters.

There is no immigration problem. The US has an invasion problem. I favor a wall along our southern border, manned by some of the marines and soldiers whom we should bring home now. I also favor reimplementation of President Eisenhower’s program which solved this problem in 1954 and the pre-1965 restrictions as well as a limit of 1/10th of 1 % immigration per year, after a moratorium. We must be vigilant never to use this emergency or any other to restrict the liberties of the American people as has happened repeatedly, especially since 9-11 which was an inside job. I strongly oppose any employee identification requirement. We should never let the government decide who works. It is nonsense to import foreign workers during a depression.

The addition is underlined.

For liberty, justice and peace,

David Macko

Libertarian for Congress Ohio 14th District

Update 03/31/2014:  Mr Exner was kind enough to add my changes to the survey response.
